TIPS

  • Don’t use brooms on round surfaces. It will wear out the middle of the broom head and shorten their life prematurely.
  • Always thoroughly clean brooms, sponges or scourers if they contact the ground before reusing them so as not to scratch your truck.
  • If your truck is extremely dirty make sure it is hosed, preferably pressure sprayed, before putting a broom, sponge or scourer on it.
  • If your truck is extremely dirty and you put a sponge or scourer on it before brooming you have affectively turned the sponge or scourer into sand paper.
  • Use clip seal bags to store microfibres. Label the bag with the product the microfibre was used with. This will keep them clean and moist ready for the next use.
  • With the microfibre in the clip seal bag remaining moist with the product it was used for, it will get to the point where you will not have to spray, simply wipe with the microfibre, saving you a heap of time and money.
  • Don’t use loose gloves when you are washing your truck. Particularly bad are cheap household washing-up gloves. They irritate the skin by movement and quite often this results in a rash. They also allow dirt and water to get up around the fingernails causing more trouble.
  • Do not put Bug & Road Grime Prespray on freshly polished vehicle.
  • Do not put Bug & Road Grime Prespray on faded paint.
